Pretty Good. I have been a member of many diffrent fitness clubs and I have found OZ to be quite a bit better than the other ones I was members of. No they dont keep the door open all night long, nor do I blame them, the costs associated with keeping the club open the entire night would be ludacris in this economy. The customer service was better than most places, and the locker rooms were amazingly clean, they used to be dirty but since they changed owners they have become a much better all around gym. The best part about it though is the abundence of equipment and help you can get there at almost any time during the day. The downtown branch is hard on parking but for someone who can walk or bike there it is very convient for me.
Customer Service is Terrible.
It’s really too bad when one or two employees can ruin your entire experience. I have been a member now since June 2009. I live about 1 mile from down town Spokane but choose to drive to the north side location. There is one girl in particular who works at the front desk that is just terrible to interact with. She seems like she is always in a bad mood and I feel like every time I see her she is going to give me a hard time. Plus the parking sucks!!!! There is none, you either have to park on the street and pay, or pay to park in a garage somewhere.
I would not recommend the down town location. And I hope you never have a billing issue. I had to talk to several employees and a few managers just to answer a simple question. There is no billing department, so if you have a billing issue you get pushed around through the team members until you speak to a "manager." It was a pain to say the least.
Overall a decent gym aside from the DT location, good size and a wide selection of equipment and classes, just pray you don't have a billing issue and keep your interaction with the staff to a minimum especially the girl at the down town location.
Full-service gym offers weights, cardio equipment, sauna, steam room, classes and personal training, open for most hours of the day..
In Short
With classes ranging from 24 Hour Tease, a sexy strip aerobic class, to the more subdued Vinyasa flow yoga and butt-kickin' boot camp, this active sports club is packed with health conscious (and some insomniac) gym goers. Stocked with the latest cardio and weight-training equipment, this gym cranks up the pumping music, flicks on the Plasma TV sets, and lets fitness fanatics work out according to their own schedule. With affordable rates and a friendly, knowledgeable staff, personal training is another tangible get-fit option. And while the moniker is somewhat misleading, on most days the door is open for at least nineteen hours--not too shabby.
rude staff. all I can say, is that if you plan on going to this gym you'd better make darn sure your know all the terms and agreements in the contract. They will find every way possible to get extra money out of you. The staff, for the most part, is rude and pushy. Even the general manager and human resourse managers are rude to the customers.
Don't wast your money. Spent 2,000 to join for the family and they just keep screwing us over. Will not return our money.
