Warm chocolate chip cookies greet every guest at this Hilton-owned hotel, a friendly touch that fits in with the hotel's business-casual attitude. Another way Doubletree helps its guests relax is the Sweet Dreams bed, which features a pillow-top mattress, high thread-count linens, down comforters and lots of jumbo pillows. Amenities also include high-speed Internet access, in-room coffeemaker and complimentary newspaper; properties also typically feature a swimming pool, a fitness center and a range of meeting facilities.

Very Average. My wife and I stayed here to celebrate valentines day. They had a valentines special with a bottle of champagne, breakfast and cookies for about $100. We were very disappointed. I always thought the Double Tree was a highly rated hotel but it was very average to me. It was better suited for business travelers, not Valentine Specials. The view was nice, looking over Riverfront park. The decor was boring. The lobby and parking was confusing. The location is okay for people visiting Spokane. There wasn't anything special about the staff. What I don't get, is why spend $100 for a hotel that's a notch above Motel 6... Our next stay will be at the Davenport. We can't wait!
