Always terrific. I have always had a good experience at Spencer's. The steaks are top quality meat and the service impeccable. Thank you, Spencer's, for another great meal!
Best Steakhouse in Spokane!.
There are plenty of choices for steak lovers here, but I have found that Spencers is head and shoulders above the rest. All the little details and the amazing stock of wine and Single Malt Scotch makes this my favorite restaurant. It's more a unique dining experience than just another meal.
I love the a'la carte menu giving you a full selection of every portion of your meal. The salads are very fresh, the iceberg wedge is wonderful but more than enough for two people. The Idaho Baker is defintely not to be overlooked - another that can be better split - with the tableside presentation and all the toppings you could want. The last time I dined at Spencer's the special side dish was lobster macaroni, which was to die for.
The beef is amazing, specially aged and hand cut. Cooked to perfection. Its the only restaurant in town that serves only USDA Prime.
They have a great selection of dishes on their menu, everything from pasta to to chicken to fresh fish - though you'd be crazy not to indulge in the Spencer Steak - a prime Ribeye, I'd suggest it for first timers.
Try to leave a little room for the "Naughty" Chocolate Cake - even if you can only fit one bite it is worth the small price of $7 to taste a wee bit of heaven.
Everything on their menu is delicious and prepared with expertise, you cannot go wrong!
I have been there over a dozen times and each time has been a special experience.
This place is awful. Skip it.. Spencer's is a miserable place to eat dinner. It has great steaks - the quality of the meat is excellent - and the rest of the menu is edible, but the whole experience was painful. My steak wasn't cooked properly, and it was decided for me that my side-portions would be half orders, of which I wanted full dishes. The service was terrible: My waitress was in moron-mode, and towards the end of my dinner, she was practically telling me to leave. And after spending $120! My response to the rush, "I'll have another glass of this pinot. Wonderful wine." This is a poor version of an "ultimate steakhouse", and I might ask for my money back. Maybe Hilton Hotels would like to know that a server, an employee of the Doubletree, was standing within earshot of my table, talking about what a horrible company it is compared to other hotels. Fun, Spencer's. Thanks for a terrible experience.
Best Steak in Spokane. I am just aghast that Spencer's is not listed seperately in the Steak Section. Spencers is the equal of the finest steakhouse in Kansas City. The "prepared at your table" baked potato is out of this world.
