Spokane >Jaazz Salon & Skin Care Ctr
Jaazz is without contest, Spokane's Best Salon.. I have had naturally curly hair my entire life and never found a healthy way to straighten my hair until I met Sonna Brado of Jaazz. I can now have straight hair that is healthy and soft without the worries of hair damage. Their team stays on the cutting edge more than any other salon that I have seen in the region and their standards for education I know are very strict. You will love this place and the people working in it!
Pretty Good. This is the best place in Spokane to have waxing done. I have had the best results here and yet it's typically less expensive than other high-end salons in the area. I've been here many times. I have only really had one bad experience - I made an eyebrow wax appointment in the morning of the day I was flying out of town for vacation. It was the day after a holiday and the person who was supposed to be there just never showed up for work. They gave me a credit which was nice but that didn't change the fact that I had gross eyebrows in my vacation pictures. I have had my hair done here once or twice. I have liked the cuts but not the color, even though I'm very specific about what I want. It's ridiculous that Jaazz clearly has employees write reviews here on this website...but anyway. Overall, I like this salon and I especially love their reasonable prices considering it's what I would think of as a high-end salon (for Spokane).
Best in Spokane! Read this review!!!. As my sister said, I had a hair 911 the night before my wedding. My stylist from Seattle got sick and I had no one to do my hair. We called Jazz and they set me up the next morning at 7 am! They obviously made room for me! Unfortunately, I cannot remember my stylist name but she did an amazing job and was very skilled. I received a beautiful style and it was just what I wanted! In addition, she calmed my nerves with a scalp massage. The receptionist made sure my parking till was paid and they followed me to my car with an umbrella to protect me from the cold November rain. I'm in the industry and this place was exceptional!!!
What a joke!.
I received one of the worst haircuts and highlights at this salon. They did offer to correct my color for free, but I think my correction might be worse than the original highlights. Completely unorganized and front desk staff rude! Mixed up my appt. for a different day and then when they rescheduled me, I arrived 15 minutes early, but they did not even begin my service until 25 minutes past my original appt. time. I was made an appt. for a waxing after my hair appt., but no one seemed to know what I was talking about because it was never booked!
If this is the best that Spokane has to offer....I'm in big trouble!
great salon, but be warned extremely high prices. I adore this salon, but it is by far the most expensive salon I have ever been too. They really listen to you wants and needs. But be warned you will pay a lot. I have never paid less than 150 dollars for cut and color. parking can also be a pain. The stylists can also get a little too pushy trying to get you to buy products, but they certainly know their stuff!!! VERY FRIENDLY STAFF
Best Salon and Skin Care in Spokane and beyond!. I absolutely love going to Jaazz! They give me the best haircuts and facials and their customer service is the best in town. Their friendliness & care is genuine and attention to detail is impressive. I truly enjoy going to Jaazz, whether for a haircut, coloring, facials or a simple manicure the experience is always rejuvenating.
Big City Influence. Jaazz is a place that pays attention to the trends and styles happening in fashion. Sonna Brado cut my hair, and she is so incredibly talented. It was obvious why she gets called upon by the top stylist in the industry. I think Spokane is lucky to have people here that are so well versed in an art form that Spokane is just learning to appreciate. Sonna and her stylist are a gift more people should experience.
Avoid at all costs. I went To this salon because of its reputation as a high end salon. The only thing high end are their prices and the service was horrible. I waited 20 min past my appt time before beig brought back to the chair and then was rushed through the haircut so fast I probably spent more time in the waiting area. They pushed so much product on me I ended up with things I don't even know how to use. When I called to see about learning how to use them They were going to charge me for a consultation. I will never return there
It's all about them.
Being downtown makes you feel important but being in the salon makes me feel rushed. This is not a place that makes you feel relaxed and pampered. They need to invest in style books, not People magazine or Vouge.
The front desk staff is curt and after your service you are asked (in front of everyone) what tip you would like to leave! This should be at my discretion and presented to me to fill in, not announce in the lobby. The front desk staff protect the stylist from the clients like the secret service, I can never get a message through or a phone call returned, and they are completely unflexable.
I have been a regular client for about a year, giving them more than ample opportunity to exceed my expectations, and I spend a good chunk of change at each visit. The stylist are personable and do a fair job but I often leave not sure if I really got what I wanted or if I've been pacified. If you want to be pampered and feel it IS about YOU, try somewhere else..maybe Spa Paradiso. There is no one there available to express this to, the owners reside in the heavenlies...or I would have brought this to thier attention personally.
Be Cautious of the reviews. Dont get me wrong JAAZZ is a good salon. However I know for a fact these reviews are written by the employees! I know many staff members at the salon and I know their E-mail Addresses and these my friend are written by them, most with in a few days of each other! It must have been a Salon requirement.
