They refused to let my son use the restroom after we paid for $39 worth of food! It took 40 minutes to get our food (Party of 4) of which they brought out 3 of the 4 meals. The final dish showed up after the rest of us had already finished our food. I always tip 20% but didn't this time for really slow service. I noted it on the receipt so they can improve their service. We left the restaurant. My son, who drove his own car, returned back to the restaurant because he needed to use the restroom. The waiter confronted him, even though I paid the bill, and told my son "You can't use the restroom for really slow service". What! Are you kidding? They're in the customer service business and treat us like that? Thank goodness there is the internet to share my experience. Go to Azteca. They want you, give you twice the portions for half the price, and tastes much better!!

Bad Experience. My wife and I have eaten here several times. The food has always been 3 to 4 out of 5. It seemed the logical choice since we were in a nearby motel for a couple of days. On Monday June 13,2011 I went to Casa de Oro to get some food to go. After waiting several minutes-about ready to leave- a very disinterested waiter finally acknowledged my presence and from 30 ft away asked if I had been helped. No I have not. He came down and acted like I was too much trouble. He finally took my order after I explained what I wanted several times. About ten minutes later the order was ready. I took it and went to the motel to enjoy it with my wife. Simply put, it was inedible and most of the order was trashed. The ground beef taco turned out to be an enchilada. That and the other ground beef items were so greasy they could not be eaten. The bottoms of the containers were so filled with grease it made the food impossible to eat.I ate about 2/3 of my chili relleno and the rest of the order was thrown out. Very disappointing! Rather than going back and making a fuss we just will not go back! The entire contact and the terrible food made this a very bad experience. The waiter needs to be retrained in customer relations. The cooks need to be retrained in proper food preperation. What was to be a great night of Mexican food turned out to be a disaster. What a disappointment! To be generous, 1 star out of 5 for this dining experience!
