Mediocre food, great ambience, super service. Loved the ambience and decor. The service was superb and friendly! A bit on the pricey side, however, they serve a LOT of food for the money. Pork Fried Rice was too dry and bland. Egg flower soup only average. Deep fried shrimp was good, but more puff than stuff. The Almond chicken was DELICIOUS! Excellently prepared and gravy was just right. I would return, but not my favorite Chinese food so far.

China Dragon is a hidden treasure on the north side.. China Dragon is a hidden treasure on the north side. Don't waste your time ordering the traditional combination plates (although they are good). Go for one of their fantastic stir fries. If you like salmon, the salmon basil is awesome. From mild to spicy, all the stir fries are fresh with lots of quality meat and vegetables. The hot and sour soup is good, but I really like their twist on the dish, Hot and Sour Seafood soup. The beef noodle bowl is a take from the Vietnamese Pho. If you don't like a particular vegetable, (little corns for me) ask them to hold it! Because we are empty nesters, we enjoy sitting in the bar, away from other peoples children. The wait staff is awesome and will always tell you if the kitchen is backed up, which it can be because of it's popularity and proximity to Northtown Mall. (right across the street from Macy's). If Alison is working in the bar, she may just sing for you!
