Don't Bother. I highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs. My husband went in on a Sunday and we ordered the pork chop breakfast with aebelskivers strawberry crepes hash browns coffee and orange juice. The orange juice was wonderful, the coffee was really weak, and when my crepes came out it was apparent they used frozen strawberries, and although they took the time to take them out of the freezer and set them on a counter overnight they were gross, and by gross I mean they were purplish and watery. The hash browns tasted like they'd been prepared a few hours ago, they were really dry and kind of mildewy and the aebelskivers were undercooked. The pork chop was ok, but the tomatoes they had used as a garnish were wilting and had the first stages of mold growing on them. I would have let the waiter know if he hadn't been in such an apparent hurry to get us out. When he came by the table he grabbed the plate with the pork chop on it, the only half decent part of the meal, and didn't offer a box or ask why we hadn't really touched the rest of it. All in all it was a complete waste of 30 dollars, but we didn't want our money back, we only wanted the taste out of our mouths.

the quality shows; very good food. they have dishes here no one else serves. the potato pancakes are really good. I was surprised. my favorite is the strawberry crepes with cream cheese filling. try it, it's way better than u would think. I love chicken fried steak, and their chicken fried steak is hand-breaded, so it tastes great and you won't be getting a headache from preservatives. the waitresses are uniformly good. spokane needs more restaurants of this caliber

The only place to eat breakfast in Spokane. We never eat breakfast any place else when in Spokane. Old European has so many different choices on their menu, and their german potato pancakes are worth walking over hot coals for.
