Awesome Vets

I have been taking my Dogs and Cat to Valley Vet for more years then I care to count. They are the best and very helpful. We recently got a new dog (a pit bull) and had many questions Dr. Jennifer didn't hesitate to take the time needed to help us. I have never had a negative experience here - the girls at the reception desk are incredible. I really think that you get what you give - I always try to be one of the best customers and I get the best service. With a previous dog Dr. Kevin worked with us on the phone and quick visits to manage her many allergies. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
It doesnt get any worse than this place

Do not take your pet to valley vet clinic!!!! I have never dealt with any company like this in my life. Routine visits, they are fine. But if your pet is having serious problems, please go elswhere. They do not have the resources to help your pet. They over charge you, then send you to the emergency vet clinic. I shouldve gone there to begin with. Lesson learned. Its all about how much money they can get from you until your pet dies. My dog was tested and I found out she was in kidney failure. Along with the test, they came back with a $400 bill for what they can do there for an hour, then they said I would have to take my dog to the emergency clinic. They never suggested euthanizing her??? I told them I couldnt afford emergency services, so they sent me home with no pain medication or instructions on what to do. They said just make her comfortable. My family sat there with our dog at 3:30 the next morning and watched her suffer in extreme pain for over an hour until she finally passed. Please see my other more detailed reviews on Angies List and Yelp as well as my complaint to the BBB.
Family Friends not just my Vet
by Tanksmommy
My mother and father used Valley Vet clinic with all of our family pets while I was growing up, and now as an adult with my own family I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Dr. McFrederick has been so helpful, and kind to all of my animals. He is someone I consider a family friend, not just my dog's vet. When it was time to put down my beloved rottweiler after 12 years of life together Valley vet Clinic handled us and our big guy with all of the tenderness and compassion of family. I wouldn't, and couldn't depend on anyone else with the care of my babies, (the furry one's).
don't take a beloved animal here

my cat was sick/ dying. My son took him to Valley Vet Clinic for treatment. While observing him? I think... or??? playing... with him??? one of the doctors told me they took him out of his cage and placed him with two male "house cats" in a room. WHY???? I was told my cat "held his own". My cat was diagnosed with either tetnus or a brain tumor, and fourteen years aged. His joints were stiff, convulsing and siezing. The team at Valley Vet (the doctor also told me) re-named him Stiff-ler because he could barely bend his legs.AND THEN THEY SHARED THIS INFO LAUGHINGLY WITH ME!! when I went to pick him up, got the diagnosis. This had no effect on my cat, BUT as he was put to sleep that same night because his condition worsened hugely; I WAS hurt by this knowledge. Heartless. Pranksters. Not vets.
don't take your loved family pet here
