Tips for Foxy Nails

February 13, 2013

I went in to Foxy Nails just for a nail and toe polish change, when finally noticed after ten minutes I was told to sit at the pedicure chair. After completing one coat of polish, a group of three had walked in and asks to sit by each other for a pedicure. I was then told to move to the nail station without being completely serviced so they will be able to sit by each other. "I had then ask why do I have to move and I was here first"? The female who was originally working on my polish change stopped and ask a male worker to finish helping me. As I was walking over to the nail station I asked again why am I moving over to the nail station and my feet are not done. The male worker said in a very rude tone to "sit", and he will do it later. I replied no, and that I do not want my nails polished if I can't get my toes finished. I then ask what do I owe for the one coat. The male started to yell "sit" again, I replied no again and gave him $5. He then said it's $9, and he's calling security if I don't pay the rest. I replied I'm not paying for an unfinished service. Two women who worked there then came over to see what the problem was. I explained and one offered to finish my toes and do my nails. I allowed her to finish my toes but did not want to stay for my nails. I feel like I was very disrespected and treated rude and would never go back again for anything!

Great Salon. As a new resident, I visited a number of nail salons before being referred to Foxy Nails. I won't be looking any further! I had an EXCELLENT pedicure--very thorough and meticulous. Likewise, my fill was don't pain-free (not always the case) and by a true nail artist. This is one of the largest salons I've ever been to, so there are many workers. Can't vouch for all of them, but I know who I'll be scheduling with from here on out.

Unfriendly, poor job. I went to Foxy Nails due to receiving a gift certificate. I got a deluxe manicure. The massage and parafin dip was nice but the paint job was horrible. I could have done better myself. Also when I sat down there were broken acrylic black nails all over the floor that stuck to my purse-gross! I won't be going back!

Very Happy. I have been going to Foxy nails for about 9 years and I have been very pleased with there service. I really love the pedicures the most because it feels so goo. I feel that they do a great job and I have had no complaints. I also get my eyebrows done and they do a wonderful job with that. I have never been over charged or paid different prices from what they list on the board in their business. I really enjoy talking with the employees and have always had a wonderful experience going there.

Not consistent. I have gotten my nails done here for the past six months or so, and the price I've been charged has never been the same. It depends on which employee does the nails. Plus, there are several employees who do not do a very good job while others do great. I also don't like the fact that one person will start your nails and then sometime change to someone else so half your nails can look different. The last time I was here, the lady doing my nails stated she would do a little extra work and would not charge me just to see if I liked having my nails that way. I agreed only to find out that when she finished, I was charge over twice as much as normal. When I asked where the extra charges came from, they weren't able to explain other than to say they don't do anything for free. Needless to say, I think I'm finally done with them and am going to find someone else more consistent and fair priced.

Dangerous and unprofessional.. I had already had my eyebrows waxed several times and had my nails done at Foxy Nails several times before they accidentally ended up ripping off several inches of burned skin while waxing my eyebrows. They refused to give me a refund and I definitely won't be back. I hope that the skin doesn't scar so that the hair may actually grow back enough to hide to the uneven job they did.
