Qualified instructors; great energetic atmosphere. The energy at Oz Fitness is always upbeat and keeps me motivated to work out. The downtown gym is where I go most of the time because of the great young professional vibe. The instructors are all fantastic, and recently I learned that not only are they required to constantly be renewing their certification and learning the latest in fitness/nutrition medicine, but they also have registered dieticians on staff. I think that's awesome! Definately the best gyms in the area.

OZ FITNESS IS A RIPOFF, STAY AWAY!. OZ Fitness in Spokane, Washington sold me two long-term membership for a 24 hour gym, then cut the hours of the gym by a third. This eliminated the very reason I bought the expensive memberships. I asked for a refund. They refused.

They claim that their form contract language allows them to do whatever they want. In other words, OZ Fitness thinks it's fine to rip off customers.

Besides it being grossly unethical for OZ Fitness to sell a service, collect payment for that service, then cancel the service without providing even partial refunds, the language of their form contract does not in fact allow them to do that, nor was it ever intended to. It might allow them to cancel an occasional yoga class, take a piece of equipment offline for repairs or slightly adjust pool hours, but it does not allow OZ Fitness to wipe out vast amounts of services they have sold in advance.

Even if OZ Fitness’ one-sided little "contract" did say that, putting language in their form "contract" does not allow them to do whatever they want. Under OZ Fitness’ theory, they could sell 24-hour gym memberships, then after collecting payments announce that OZ Fitness will be open for only two minutes a day once a year, give no refunds yet suffer no consequences. That sounds more like fraud than a “contract.”

I am publicizing OZ Fitness’ unethical behavior because they refused my written requests for a reasonable refund. I want to help others avoid being ripped off. Everyone should STAY AWAY from OZ Fitness, unless you are are willing to give OZ Fitness money for services they feel no obligation to provide.

Shame on OZ Fitness.

Worst gym experience ever. Customer service needs improvement.. Customer service at thie gym is horrible, the drive to Gold's Gym on the south hill is worth it. The people at this gym don't understand the meaning of no, they're contantly trying to sell me personal training and supplements. I understand salesmanship, but the fact that they are only nice to you until you say no is what disturbed me. The gentleman who I signed my membership with was very nice and personable while filling out the paperwork, but literally the next day he acted like he didn't even know me. Be careful joining this gym, their idea of an orientation is setting you up with a personal trainer who lures you in by leading you to believe that the personal training is free, gets you interested, then tosses you over to her manager who has a contract ready to go for $56/hour sessions. Then they really put pressure on you by surrounding you, and once you say no, they say "nice meeting you" and orientation is over. The worst part about it is that the gentleman who helped me told me that orientation would be an in depth tour around the gym, he outright lied to me.

Bottom line. This gym needs to step it up. I don't know if it is the management, poor employees, or lack of respect for their jobs. Horrible customer service, unless you hire a personal trainer. I should be able to trust and depend on the staff of a club I belong to. I'm switching to Gold's becasue the staff is much nicer and willing to do their jobs.

Full-service gym offers weights, cardio equipment, sauna, steam room, classes and personal training, open for most hours of the day.. In Short
With classes ranging from 24 Hour Tease, a sexy strip aerobic class, to the more subdued Vinyasa flow yoga and butt-kickin' boot camp, this active sports club is packed with health conscious (and some insomniac) gym goers. Stocked with the latest cardio and weight-training equipment, this gym cranks up the pumping music, flicks on the Plasma TV sets, and lets fitness fanatics work out according to their own schedule. With affordable rates and a friendly, knowledgeable staff, personal training is another tangible get-fit option. And while the moniker is somewhat misleading, on most days the door is open for at least nineteen hours--not too shabby.

WORST I HAVE EVER BEEN TREATED. JUST RECENTLY I WAS CONTACTED BY AN OZ FITNESS EMPLOYEE IN REGAURDS TO A PAST ACCOUNT I HAD FROZEN BECAUSE OF A FEW OVER CHARGES I RECIVED DURNING THE SWITCH FROM 24HR TO OZ FITNESS THAT HAD NEVER BEEN REPAID BY ETHER COMPANY 6 MONTHS LATER. I HAD NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY OR BEEN DISRESPECT IN THIS WAY BEFORE. WHEN I WAS CONTACTED BY MNGMNT THEY SHOWED LITTLE TO NO CONCERN, I AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS OF THE ABOVE TO PARTIES. AS A BUSINESS OWNER I WILL HAVE MY EMPLOYEE ACCOUNT SET UP WITH ANOTHER CLUB. OZ U WERE TESTED AND FAILED! NOT TO MENTION THE COMMENTS I HAVE RECIVED FROM A FEW FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS THAT SEEM TO FOLLOW THE NAME OZ. U NEVER KNOW WHO UR NEXT CLIENT MIGHT BE REMEBER THE POWER OF REFFERAL ITS UR NEWEST POTENTIAL CLIENT. TWO THUMBS DOWN OZ FITNESS I'M SURE ITS NOT WHAT "MRS IAN RILEY" HAD IN MIND

Poor customer service. I joined Oz in June, and have to say that I am not that impressed. I completely agree with the last 2 postings on horrible customer service. I have been awaiting a refund check for 2 months, and have spoken with the manager once a week regarding this issue.

Second- The staff unfortunately cares more about appearing cute to their same age counterparts than to treat everyone equally, and I am in my 20's and notice this. I will be looking for a new gym next month.

I left this club. This is NOT the Nordstrom of fitness centers and in the neighborhood they are in people are used to being treated better. The staff right now is horrid, I have seen the worst customer service in my life at this fitness center. I left this gym and am now around the corner at Gold's Gym and LOVE it. Gold's is in a great location and it is all I need PLUS I am treated well. Really customer service is the name of the game and this club loses.

Poor customer service. I have been with this facility for several years. I have seen it change names, staff changes, remodels and improvements. I am now considering another facility. The customer service at this location has become very poor. As an elderly gentleman I see the younger generation being treated differently than I am treated. Really it is discrimination, but it seems that the female staff just would rather flirt with the younger fellows then help out a regular old guy.
