Love me some sweet&sour. Just want to say that the website that was responsible for putting the menu online that the user below me saw, was incorrectly uploaded under China Cafe's name. Because of the problems with this website, China Cafe has created their own menu-site: Chinacafespokane.webs[dot com]

Anyways, food wise, I love American-Chinese food. Their sweet&sour chicken, almond chicken, sweet and sour pork, are all battered and deep fried and their sweet and sour and almond gravy is the best in town hands down! Most of their stir-fry dishes come with lots of veggies. The menu is huge so if you're not sure what you'd like, just tell ask any of the friendly staff what is the most popular, or tell them if you want shrimp, chicken with veggies and they'll recommend something. Super family-oriented restaurant everyone that works their is the owners kids or parent with the exception of 2 workers. I like to come here just to have a casual dinner when I'm having that Asian/Oriental craving! If you want corporate, frozen plates heated up by ovens where substitutions are impossible, and insincere waitstaff then go to PF Changs! This is a simple family joint.

Menu Prices. I checked prices online before I called in for a takeout and they seemed reasonable. When I got there to pick up my food, they charged me almost $15 more than the online menu prices. Of course I paid, but I'll think twice before doing it again.

Lousy Food. We have been coming to the China Cafe for probably 15 years or more. Until this time food and service has been very good. This time the service was good but the quality of the food was lousy. When we complained, the waitress (Gail) said "I'm sorry", We will no longer patronize China Cafe. Too Bad, so sad!

Spokane's BEST Chinese food!. I already had two favorite Chinese restaurants when I first visited China Cafe...and China Cafe topped them both. Excellent Chinese food!
