One of the best Italian meals I've had outside of Italy. Great service & super fast, Excellent food and service! The staff were so welcoming and professional and they have the ability to make you feel like you are the only seated table in the restaurant. We ate there just yesterday and had a great time as we always do, I Highly recommend this place.

Italian Kitchen's serves you an ample amount of their fresh garlic, cheese bread, which is delicious and filling. Each entree comes with your choice of their house salad. The Owner greeted us at the door and everyone was very nice. Nothing special from the outside but go in have a beer or glass of wine close your eyes and just relax in a very comfortable setting. I love it. highly Recommended!...

Amazing Restaurant. Best Italian Restaurant we've ever been to! Amazing atmosphere, exceptional service and unbelievable food! This place is a must visit. We travel a lot and the Italian Kitchen is as good as any Italian restaurant we've ever dined in. Highly encourage you to check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Mediocre Spaghetti House Food-Arrogant Inattentive Service. If you want a $20 plate of production-line pasta served with an arrogant take-it-or-leave-it attitude, this is your place. If you want veal scallopine or (God forbid!) braciole, better go somewhere else. These Italian mainstays are not even on the menu at The Italian Kitchen. We took a party of six there to celebrate the special birthday of a good friend. They pushed two tables together which were 1 1/2" different in height. When we asked them to switch one of the mis-matched tables with a nearby table that was empty, they arrogantly refused ... saying our birthday guest could either strattle their mismatched tables ... or eat at a different restaurant. The food quality of our 6 dishes was comparable to what you get in "mainstream" spaghetti houses -- but their price was double what others charge. Spokane has some fine dining establishments with outstanding food and attentive service. Italian Kitchen is sadly not one of them.

"Up at 4:30 with an upset stomach". The food is so bad I have wrote a few reviews, so I am doing this one quickly.

1. There were no fresh ingredients in the food. I did not see any fresh basil, taste any fresh garlic, or even smell any fresh ingredients in the restaurant.

2. My girl friend had a disgustingly dirty water glass. Not just unacceptable dirty, but over pea size reddish spots on the inside of the glass.

3. The bread tastes like it was baked at a grocery store. Not the good french bread either, but the Wal-Mart type bread that is super artificial.

4. The ice cream was old, with Ice chunks in it.

5. Expensive! The meal was 90 dollars. Usually I go to a nice little Pho restaurant in town because it is so fresh and delicious. I could have taken my girlfriend there for awesome food, 4 times for the amount spent at this terrible ITALIAN KITCHEN.

6. Don't go there. It is crap food at a high price. My stomach is upset. i heard it was good, but they either have some major quality control issues, or the people I talked to are wrong. I will talk to the people who told me it was good.

Outstanding!!. I enjoy every minute when I dine at the Italian Kitchen. From the moment I walk in I am greeted warmly, seated quickly, even on a busy weekend night (I do always call for reservations). My waitress even remembered me from the last time I was there. The food is always tasty. It comes with your choice of house made soup from scratch, or salad with house made dressing. Yah that is right it comes with it you are NOT charged extra. They make all their sauces from scratch, lasagna, raviolis...etc. YUM!! We usually finish our meal with a glass of wine and Tiramisu (also made in house).

If you haven't been to the Italian Kitchen you are missing out.

Our favorite place. This is the first place we think of when we dine out. Delicious food, service is wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing. The servers will learn your name if you frequent this family owned business. I'm ALWAYS pleased when I dine at the Italian Kitchen.

Truth lies in between.... I read the other reviews of this restaurant and was struck by how differing the opinions were, so I decided to check it out for myself. The atomosphere was not quite as romantic as described, somewhat dark and loud. The service was prompt and courteous, despite what the 2 very negatives reviews said. The food was pretty good, but my husband's cioppino was full of pieces of mussel shell and the bread seemed like it was from the grocery store. Overall, it was just OK. I'm pretty sure the 2 postive reviews were written by the owners of the place (look carefully at the names), draw your own conclusions.
