RESPONSE TO LAST REVIEW.
This is a response from SPORTSCARDS NORTHWEST to the "ACCUSED CUSTOMER" review below.
The gentleman who wrote this review was arrested and charged with the burglaries of 3 sportscard shops. Please remember, he is innocent until proven guilty.
In addition, in April of 2011, he was arrested in the connection of burglarizing over 40 beauty salons (that's not a typo... over 40).
Just google "Robert Frates Spokane" and you can read the stories!
So, please read his review below with "a grain of salt" because it isn't even worth that! It seems that he is a career criminal. Why he would take the time to write a negative review about our shop is unbelievable!
Regarding the "$40 credit" that he will probably never see... He's certainly correct about that!!! That's about the only credible statement he made in the whole review.
I sincerely hope that you get your life turned back around, Bobby.
Sincerely,
Sportscards NW
ACCUSED CUSTOMER. I recently got into card collecting here as of late. I had been laid off and was looking to make a little extra bill and fun money for myself my wife and our son. I started off selling some cards that I had been collecting over the years mostly from when I was younger. Wow I was able to get some ok money for some on ebay. I started buying new sealed boxes online from ebay and wholesalers for much cheaper than a retail store(50% or less). I opened boxes hoping to get one of those super rare and High $ cards. Anyways took the cards I couldnt use or sell here to trade in. Excellent transactions at first but apparently after I started shopping and trading there another card shop was broken into. Guess since I was new guy on the block bringing in a couple boxes of cards that made me a suspect. The last time iIwent in The owner got the other store owner over to his store and unfortunatley some of my cards were similar to theres. How about that ! I thought they only made one of each card for each year. Anyways police were called they came and questioned me. I was extremley embarrased not for myself because I know my business was legit, but for my wife and 14 month old son it was very troubling. I offered to show receipts to the police they were welcome to come to my home and check anything I had. They didnt come. they said there was nothing to prove they did however seize the cards in question and told me id have to talk to a detective to get them back. I was treated poorly by one officer the other two were very nice. I feel alienated to the point where I feel I cannot go shop or trade in another shop. On top of it all sportscards northwest still owes me 40.00 of in-store credit from before. I doubt ill ever see it. THANK YOU SPORTSCARDS NORTHWEST
