what a wonderful little shop. I stopped by the Small Hill Orchid shop and found the most helpful knowledgable young Erin who was most helpful and reasonable pricing for orchid help,,I would encourage anyone to give it a try ,,she was most helpful,,,such a great little shop with hundreds of choices for orchids and assorted flowers

Elegant Touch for a Dinner Party. This quaint shop also carries bonsai trees along with a large variety of orchids. While Erin, the owner, was repotting a bonsai tree for me I asked her if she could provide orchid plants for a large dinner party several months later. Erin mentioned that I could rent the three dozen plants rather than purchase them.

Erin suggested a mix of phalaenopsis, oncidiums and paphiopedilums. Three weeks in advance I ordered 35 plants and provided the glass vases (also rented). Erin placed each pot inside the glass vase and surrounded the pot with moss. The flowers were delivered and the overall effect was breathtaking. The room was set for 58 guests. Beautiful flowers were scattered around the room. The effect was stunning!

Erin's suggestions and ideas were extremely helpful. She provided outstanding personal service, great value for the price, high quality flowers/plants and an elegant touch to a wedding rehearsal dinner.

For a charity event I can see using these beautiful flowers as centerpieces and then selling them after the event as a fundraiser. The blooms last for a very long time.
