Horrible Owners, Not Good For Family Events. If you want a family event....DO NOT GO HERE. Members of my family were nice enough to cater the wedding as a present to the bride and groom and were treated abominably. One owner (Larry) even started yelling and threatening my family member's restaurant if he didn't do things the way the owner wanted. An aunt of the groom wanted to cut the wedding cake and the owners freaked out. Even after the mother of the groom talked to the owners, they continued with the rude behavior. If you want your family involved with your wedding preparations, this is not the place to go. Although beautiful, Belle Victorian Gardens is not suitable for a family affair.

Beyond Expectations!. I had my wedding and reception there in August 2009. Everything was perfect, just by virtue of the location, with its beautiful and tranquil gardens (imagine your intimate reception amidst candlelight, calm fountains, and fragrant blooms- a Midsummer Night's Dream!), serene pond, the beautiful Victorian home, and and especially the owners, Larry and Pam Terpstra. From top to bottom, this property has been designed to make for unforgettable memories, and the owners will do anything and everything possible to make it the best day of your life!

rude owners. The owners ruined everyone's good time. They were overbearing bullies. Everyone had a bad run in with them in one way or another. One person said he was yelled at for changing his child on the floor of the house on a changing pad. They have no facilities for it, what was he supposed to do change him in the dirt outside? The house is old, the place is small, the owners seem to hate children (especially the wife!). watch out! don't plan your wedding here! big mistake!!
