Laguna CafeOK food, mediocre service, very high prices. We went to Lagune Cafe on a Friday evening and ordered three items - a "pizza" from the appetizer menu which was really just four bite sized pieces which together were smaller than a single slice of pizza. It was very good but at $9, come on!. For dinner we ordered a chicken sandwich with some rosemary potatoes and a salad. Potatos were great, sandwich was ok and salad was very plain - $12. The biggest disappointment was the mahi mahi. Presentation was beautiful but I've never had a blander piece of fish - there was absolutely no taste (which wasn't helped by the fact that it was served with white rice). I told the waitress it was quite bland and she offered to bring me some salt/pepper. That wasn't gonna help. And that was the only offer she made - no apology, no manager visit to the table, no offer to make something else, no offer to comp the meal, no offer of a free dessert. Those three items plus a single glass of wine added up to $65 with an 18% tip that they added to the bill!!!! I won't be going back.
